FINDING HIGHER GROUND
I produced over 30 videos for Tim Ryan’s 2020 presidential campaign, including the Announcement video which aired in part on major news outlets like CNN. There’s a lot of glossy political ads out there. This campaign broke that mold. We pulled Tim off the soap box and sat him down at the dinner table, focusing on real human stories over talking points. I developed the strategy, worked directly with the candidate and senior staff, led the production teams, and directed each edit.
From the first time I met Tim Ryan I knew he was special. A plainspoken former high school quarterback, Tim is just as comfortable talking about mindfulness and local food as he is talking about the economy and education. And his constituents are just as likely to run into him at a hot yoga class as they are to rub shoulders with him over beer at the local pub. He’s laser-focused on rebuilding our economy to work for all Americans, and has authored two books, “A Mindful Nation” and “The Real Food Revolution.” To introduce the country to Tim’s lesser known wellness platform, we produced short documentaries about his work in mindfulness, veteran’s mental health, and food systems.
